That's great if the Smart Water helps you! I took magnesium and zinc in addition to my multivitamin and have had no more leg cramps.

I had problems with my legs cramping and I added bananas and avacadoes to my diet along with LOTS of water. Dehydration and lack of potassium was KILLING me!

If you found something that works great. My doctor suggested quinine (commonly found in tonic water). That worked for me.

When I was pregnant, my OB suggested Kiwi fruit for leg cramps. I don't know why, but it worked great!

My opinion was that your problem was more likely caused because you weren't drinking enough water, not that you needed SmartWater. That's a VERY EXPENSIVE way to stay hydrated, and entirely not necessary. Dehydration will causes cramps, but if you are eating a balanced diet and drinking plenty of tap water, I bet you would see the same results.

Having extra electrolytes in water really only comes into play for hydration during long periods of intense exercise (>2 hours) or when you are sick with the Flu/Diarrhea.

Otherwise, save your money and drink filtered tap water. Tap water in most areas of the USA is cleaner than most bottled waters too!

I love the Smart Water. If I only drink tap water, I get cramps in my thighs; so I've adjusted to taking magnesium, potassium & calcium every day, no matter what. This is just a little extra insurance for me. I still drink plenty of tap water as well.

Or you could just eat a banana! Much cheaper, very tasty, natural way to get the potassium you need and a whole lot of other good stuff Smile

I eat bananas, but it's not enough. Can I say I have plumbing issues that causes the problem? Wink (Maybe I just need a plumber?)
