Hi everyonee, I am new here just found the app on my new tablet I got for xmas. I am 50 & went from heavy side of healthy/ normal to morbidly obese when I had health problems 5 years ago. Didn't adjust my eating & before I knew it I had gained all this weight & have been lugging it about for last few years like a ton of excess baggage. I'm 50 & live in rural England. I am starting off by keeping a food diary, & noting what rubbish I eat post Christmas, & will start seriously at this in the next few days. Happy to be buddies with anyone else, especilly anyone who has to lose what their best friend weighs!
Sometimes the only thing in life that you can control is what you put in your mouth!

Yep, I'm with you there. When I don't see the numbers I somehow can kid myself into thinking that the junk food I just ate wasn't as bad as it actually was. Honesty is the best policy. :)

When I cook at home, I create a recipe that I add to my cookbook, that way I can get an accurate calorie count, and also duplicate at a later date.
