I recently started a new diet that I want to share. The guidelines are a little strict, but possible. If you're like me, I tend to eat a lot of fast food, because it's fast, cheap, and convenient. Well, it's also INCREDIBLY UNHEALTHY for all of us and I'm ready to kick the habit! Here are a few of the "rules":

- Eat Breakfast every morning!
- Drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water a day
- NO FAST FOOD! NO JUNK FOOD!
- Limit your daily diet soda intake
- Exercise for at least 30 mins every day
- Get at least 6 hours of sleep every night
- No eating after 7PM
- Limit your alcohol intake
- Eliminate empty calories with sugary beverages (i.e. sodas, sweet tea, fruit juice, juices containing high fructose corn syrup)

My friends haven't been completely supportive of The New Me, so I'm looking for virtual friends to take this journey with me. We can do this!

I'm with you all the way!!! I have friends as well not into helping to live a healthier way but it has not stopped me. One thing I have to include is no SODA at all...that even means diet. I drank diet for two years and didn't help me at all. I went back to regular and then kicked that habit. Took me three months to get rid of the cravings. Now I get in at least 6/7 bottles of water a day, someday I might have a raspberry tea with dinner or a cup of hot cocoa at night (now were in the winter time).

I also work out every morning except Sundays for 30 mins and if I'm up to it another 10/20 at night. If I have a craving for junk food I go for baked goods as in Baked Cheeto's 1 serving does the trick. Also Burger King has a veggie burger. Of course, all in moderation. You need a cheat meal, not a day Smile Let's help each other out here!!!

There's a lot of good in your rules. Enjoy the journey - and make sure it's a fun one. No fun equals no succes. Smile
