Does anyone here know how much weight is safe to lose? I am eating 1200 calories a day. Keeping my fat intake between 25-30 on here. By doing this I am seeing results I never expected. I have lost 7 pounds in 4 days. I love the way that I am eating. I am not craving anything at all because I am changing it up often enough that it isn't making me want to binge so far. I am also eating 3-4 times a day now as where before I was eating only 1-2 times and binging.

Hiya that is amazing weight loss..... I think as long as your not going hungry, what you loose is what you loose. And that's safe. It's when we starve ourselves that's not safe

you shouldn't go less than 1000 below your recommended intake( that number you get on the bottom of the profile or weight page). the problem is if you eat to little your body will compensate and slow the weight loss. I also think it is recommended you don't go below 1200 ever for the same reason. your body needs so many calories just to function, below that is called starvation which isn't good if it's intentional or due to circumstances beyond your control. If you just started remember some of what you lose at first is water. If you are heavy that can be 5 ls or more, one of my friends who was very overweight lost 12 lbs in her first week.

awesome, thanks for the information guys. I really appreciate the feedback. I am making sure I stay at 1200 a day. I am not sure of what I ate prior to that but it is good to know that it is probably water weight that I am losing. I was getting scared that I might be overdoing the decrease of fat intake.

1200 is low. Make sure that you are getting all of the macronutrients your body needs. Lot's of protein!
