I am wondering if anyone can give me an idea on simple exercises to start working on toning my arms. I am very much a beginner at anything concerning strength training. Any help would be very appreciated!

Whenever I want to concentrate on a specific problem area. Usually my stomach... I always find new and helpful instructions on youtube. I've tried the 5 minute arms or Flabby arms: toning. I was very happy with those results. You can also use weights or bands but if you dont have those things... these simple workouts help! Good luck!

-Bench press - Works your triceps plus your chest.
-Dumbbell curls

Go light for 3 sets of 8. Over time your arms will get toned and youll lose weight in the process and gain lean muscle.

If you have dumbells, I would suggest dumbbell skull crushers (they aren't as scary as they sound). Works your triceps. Triceps make up 2/3 of your upper arms size and it is a more useful muscle in day to day life. If you don't have dumbbells try diamond pushups.
