I don't know when this creeped upset on me but today I confessed to myself that I was now
fat. I was at work and had to unbutton my pants. And these are my (big) pants! I weighed when I got home a couldn't believe I had gained 10 pounds in a couple of weeks.

I need all the advice I can get. I'm taking next week off from work and hope to learn how to get back to my smaller (size 10).

I think a low-carb (oat bran diet plan), one that is high in proteins could help you. It is important to eat fibrous, nutritious food and so it is advisable to ensure your diet contains whole grains such as rye, oat bran, barley, wild rice etc, non-starchy veggies and fruits and protein-rich food. Exercise for about an hour every day (or at least 4 days if you can’t manage every day) and drink a lot of water. You will be able to lose the weight in no time.

I am there with you especially today. Have been strictly following food plan and exercising everyday and lost 1/2 lb. Today my pants are tight and I feel miserable. Sad Usually by keeping calories below 1100 I see results-- I'll keep plugging and hope you will find the right route for you too.

I agree with rhondagraymo! Only right now Im exercising 5 days for about 45 minutes(35 moderate walking and 10 minutes of weight lifting with squats).

Hi! I started in Feb, lost, gained and now am starting again for the last time ever! My mother has had diabetes forever and suffered a stroke in November. They have discovered by controlling her carbs even more than they did, her insulin levels were more steady. Well, in doing so, my dad ate with her and lost 30 lbs without even really trying! Carbs are crucial. I'm not saying no carbs, but they limited them and had alot of success! So, along with exercise and making better choices, carbs seem to be essential.

I would love a "buddy" on this journey if anyone would like to keep each other motivated!
