I only came here based on a recommendation from a friend over on the Atkins website because she said the food tracker is awesome, and she's right! I just entered my first meal here, and it looks great, and was very easy compared to other sites. But while I was browsing around, I think I like the entire site overall, and look forward to joining some forums, groups, and finding a few buddies for this journey. Thanks!

I just joined a few days ago too. fatsecret was recommended by my sister-in-law who is a Weight Watcher's member. She lost 36 lbs on that diet, but she advised that I check out this site as I'm not working and can't afford WW's. It's really useful and I love the fact that it calculates everything for you. So far I haven't had a weigh in yet, but after only 4 days, I feel more energetic and my mid section isn't bloated. I had my thyroid out last winter and the weight has been creeping up on me. I had enough!!! Looking forward to finding a few buddies too. We need to continue the motivation....so here I am rooting for you. Keep it up and let me know how it's going.

OK - I want in too!! Just don't have time to write or anything else right now. Running out to do some errands on a day that hubby and I both have off. I'll be back. Looking forward to "talking" in the future.
