Yes, It does feel awesome! I can't wait to reach my goal weight, but slow and steady is still getting it done. The pics that everyone posts are inspiring. I am off to the beach to get some exercise (walk/run) this morning and looking forward to a great weekend. Trying to get myself ready for a half-marathon that I entered at the end of the month. I hope everyone else enjoys the weekend too. Smile Kim

I agree. If I was to pick ONE page from the internet to motivate someone to lose weight, it would be the first page of this thread.
"Keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and the cookies at the other end of the table."
- Kingkeld.
"Eat less, move more, lose weight."
- Kingkeld.
"Do. Or do not. There is no trying."

I just had surgery and because of that my weight fluctuates like crazy. I have gained something like 8 kgs (17 lbs). It's amazing how much of a difference it makes. I feel like a beached what when I try to move around these days. I can't wait to be back to normal. Smile Maybe even record a new low some day.

All part of the process! Hang in there, Keld! You've attained victory once. You'll get it back.

I will, CJT. I will. Things are rough all over right now. Feeling crappy and all, but I know it's a phase I have to get through. It's a rough ride, though. Actually, this is the hardest part of the journey, without comparison.

I hope this picture works.

I usually don't post pics online of me in a bikini, but it's the best way to see my weight loss. I don't look too skimpy in it right?

asagohan - Great job! I can really see a difference around your midsection. I know what you mean about having a suit that is too big now. I had the small problem with my bottoms a couple weeks ago when I was enjoying the waves too. Smile

chellelynn - hopefully this link works, I have not tried linking to another post yet:

It has helped me greatly with posting pictures for my journal too. The directions were simple and easy to follow. This was the first time I tried posting the link for someone else to use. Smile

Thanks Very Happy. Yeah, I'm thinking another 20lb/9kg and that's me done. I've had a hair cut since then too, that's probably accounted for a couple of pounds Razz

crazynelson- Thank you!
Triaby- You're welcome =D
Kimjinxi- Thank you! I still have to work a little more on my midsection...im still working on my little gut. at least the worst of it is gone. my pant size has shrunk from 13 to 4ish.
Kingkeld- oh yeah it felt ssoo good to be on a beach and feel less embarrassed about my body. but instead I was worried about my bottoms falling off! I need a new swimsuit... and yes, it feels awesome to see the product of a year of hard work. I am not at my goal yet but its ssooo great having something to show for all the hard work =D i still have 8 or more pounds to go.
rwaller- Yours is amazing!! That looked like some hard work!!!

I will admit, the second pic was the best looking one from the vacation. for whatever dumb reason, from the side you can see the remaining tiny gut i am trying to work on. from the front i look amazing though, and i think thats what counts.
