Confused I'm stuck between the range of 195-192 pounds all the time no matter what I eat or how long I workout nowadays. I've been at this plateau for about 2 months now. Sad Bummer. My calorie intake is 1,000 calories for my lifestyle. 18, not working, not in college, no sports, all sorts of things. Rolling Eyes
Will working out in the mornings and in the afternoons along with eating 1,000 calories kick this plateau in the behind? Very Happy Please give me all the advice you can! Maybe I need to include more foods in my diet?? Veggies perhaps? I eat a lot of fruit. Low-calorie diet by the way.

If you are truly logging all you eat, then you definitely need to eat more. You should probably move more to - don't sit on the couch.
Eat veggies - learn how to cook them so that you like them. That will keep you full without adding tons of calories, but can probably get you to at least 200 calories.
If you are logging all your foods, watch your portion sizes (especially with all the fruit). I would weigh the fruit. And it does not seem like you are eating much protein.
You might need to change up your exercise - do something new. Lift weights.

protein, protein, and more calories. you are not eating enough
If you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired.-George W Patton

Minimum is 1200 calories. Your body is probably in starvation mode which means everything you eat will stick with you. Try upping your caloric intake to at least 1200 a day. Eat back what you burn off in exercising. That way your body gets out of starvation mode and isn't storing all the food you eat.

You're starving yourself to death.

You shouldn't be eating less than 1200-1300 calories a day, assuming NO exercise.

More exercise and you need more.

For fast weight loss, aim for a deficit of no more than 1,000 calories a day (2lb/week!) with 50% of that deficit from reduced intake and 50% from exercise, with a 1200-1300 MINIMUM intake.

What your doing right now is forcing your body into starvation mode, which means your metabolism is slowed dramatically, and your body is cannibalizing lean tissue (INSTEAD of fat) to fuel itself

Stop the fruit after breakfast and get in more protein and good fats (ie- extra virgin coconut oil and also olive oil). For me the sugar in fruits usually don't let me lose weight if I eat too much, maybe a big fruit plate for breakfast just to get it out of your system but after that no sweets (yes fruits are sweets, they contain sugars even if it is natural).
Good luck, most of this diet thing is trial and error right?

If you are looking to lose weight start by finding out your BMR this will give you your daily calorie intake to start to lose weight the healthy way. The BMR calculator calculates your required daily calories to start losing based on your body factors. And as you lose weight your body get smaller and requires less calorie so you need to re-calculate your required calories to continue to lose weight. This is important or you will hit a weight loss plateau

Thanks everyone! With me just exercising and counting calories, my BMR was 1,800. I thought that was WAY too high! I started eating 1,200 calories a day and I didn't like how that made me feel! But 1,200 calories a day and more working out! Got'cha! Smile Thanks everyone!
