hi everyone, i recently returned to fat secret, i have no buddies...i need some buddies for motivation...if anyone needs a buddy please add me...i feel like the new kid with no friends!
goal 1 = 240
goal 2 = 220
goal 3 = 200
goal 4 = 180

Im new too been here bout aweek I am doing atkins, Ive done weightwatchers too both are great and cheap to do but i think atkins is easier with better results would love to be buddies

First of all, welcome aboard. If you guys still need buddies, feel free to add me. Smile
It IS important to find your style when you choose which diet you want to follow, there are so many out there. Some are probably better than others, and some are just not compatible with us. I think it's up to the individual to pick the right one.
I will, however, tell you that I have had amazing success simply counting my calories. You need to be very diligent doing this (but then again, you do with every diet for it to work), but knowing how many calories you have available to you, and knowing how much all foods "cost" you, takes all the guessing out of losing weight.
I lost half my weight in 18 months doing this.
I hope you guys find the right path for you. It's an amazing journey your going on - make sure it's one that you can have fun doing, and one that you can do every day. Then it's all worth it.

DDeanna, I joined that challenge too and am also planning on doing Atkins, but that counting calories also seems like a good idea to me like kingkeld said worked. Thank you for adding me. Lets do this together!

Counting calories doesn't work for me. I simply can not eat sugar. If I do, it kicks off terrible cravings and then I obsess about it. For me Atkins works because it has rid me of those cravings and I'm never hungry.

But yes, you do need to find what works best for *you*!!

Mix them with some garlic, salt, olive oil, some fresh chopped cilantro and lemon juice... For a more creamy sauce you can add a little bit of low fat mayo and mustard... Or just eat them as they come... ...

According to my BMI I should weigh 115-154. I only use it to estimate what weight range I should head for, although I know it's not always an accurate indicator.
