i've always gone back and forth with drinking water most of the time...some days are more successful that others of course. One day, a lil while back, i found myself drinking way more water than normal. It wasn't very long before i felt all bloated and swollen...even my feet looked puffy! this is not the desired effect i expect from drinking 60+oz of water each day lol i had never noticed it happening that much before...is there such a thing as too much water? or is it something my body will just get used to? bc i already don't like the way my body is anyway...the LAST thing i need is trying to be healthier and end up looking like a bloated fish or something lol

How much sodium did you eat yesterday/today?

i'm not sure on the day that i noticed it..it was about 2 weeks ago when it happened. usually i drink 3 or 4 bottles of water, but i had taken in a lot more than that that day. i have just started tracking my sodium and realize i take in way more than i probably should lol

There ya go...water helps flush that out, unless you have an underlying medical condition.

no underlying medical condition. i haven't really felt any other puffiness since then, well other than normal lol cutting back on sodium is on my to-do list as of recently, so...hoping that helps!

potassium can help flush sodium from your body. try adding more potassium rich foods to your diet.

drinking water is important, but it has become sort of a myth among dieters and health enthusiasts. Dehydration does not happen that easily for healthy people and most of one's water needs are covered by food anyway. There is also a thing as drinking too much water.

Water toxicity is a real thing, and can be fatal, but you have to work really hard to take in anywhere near that amount of water. I did some math on it a while ago, but I don't have it handy. If you search the forums for water toxicity you should find it.

Likely you had a lot of sodium in your diet that day.

Here you go. A 200lb person would have to drink over four gallons of water during a short period of time in order to have a 50% chance of dying from it.
