I currently just watch my calories and make sure I don't go over a certain amount. I'm interested in the paleo diet but I'm not sure what foods you can eat on it. Anyone who is on the paleo diet, what foods do you eat? How well has it worked for you? Any issues?

Google Paleo diet. You'll find all sorts of recipes and information. Think "caveman" and what they'd have eaten. (no dinosaurs) But meats, veggies, nuts, etc. Good luck And great job on your 43lb loss!!!

how's your taste for insects, rodents, roots and tree bark?
'cause that's the bulk of what paleolithic man ate.

I changed my mind. I don't think I could give up grains, at least not right now. I decided instead to try lacto-ovo-pesca-vegetarian. I can have grains and veggies/fruits as well as fish.

I so agree! I could not give up grains completely. I love my pasta, pancakes and occasional treats. You can use their recipes for the main dishes. They have some awesome ones out there.
