That is such a true statement. I have sugar cravings all the time, since I started drinking diet pop. I have cut back, but that craving is still there. I crave twinkies all the time, not sure why.

OMG!!! Have you not tried the Atkins cheesecake recipe? It is to die for....even my "normal" family eaters love it. I also made a sugar free strawberry jam with splenda to put on it and I was in heaven.

Protein powder mixed in unsweetened almond milk, with a teaspoon of peanut butter...solves the craving.. if you do not want to use peanut butter.. then use flavored protein powder... it works wellSmile

make a mixed fruit granita or a fruit ice pop. It'll feel like your cheating without feeling guilty. If you need to add a touch of agave to sweeten it up a bit. Good Luck!

You could make a sweet flax meal bread, or have some fruit.

melon low in calories A buttermilk smoothie either with fruit no sweetner or herb or herb and veggie with bit of splends. A cup of hot tea or an herbal iced tea -- I'm addicted to apple mint tea from the fresh mint in my yard.

You can eat sweets in the morning because our metabolism is most active in the morning. This means that you can burn off the calories throughout the day.

Sugar-free popsicles. There's also a South Beach recipe you may be able to do with Atkins. You get some low/non-fat ricotta cheese, and mix it with something artificially sweetened, such as dry sugar free Jello mix. You can also use Stevia or Truvia.

I love Fresca, especially the cherry flavour. I try not to drink it every day because of the aspartame, but once in a while as a treat it is fantastic.
