I just joined yesterday also - hoping that this will help me stay more consistent with my exercise, and more careful with my eating - still recovering from a broken ankle 8 months ago, and the window is closing, so if I want to be able to fully enjoy the rest of my life, exercise is essential

I just joined recently as well. As I approached 50 (then shot right past it last December!) I wanted to focus on overall improvements - healthier eatting - better fitness -- and better mind set! It's always a work in progress!

Welcome aboard, guys! You'll like it here!
A lot of people are serious "losers" here, and SO MANY people show great results. I am one of those who have tried diets all my life with little to no success, and not until I found Fatsecret did I find a way to actually reach my goal.
Feel free to add me as a buddy, should you like.

Hi! Welcome to FatSecret. This is an awsome site with a lot of super nice members. Most of us have a wealth of dieting and nutritional experience to share. I've always been obssessed with all things food and diet, so I love this web site. FatSecret has helped me lose 16 lbs. in about 2 months just by being able to so easily log in all the food I eat and see how the calories add up. I've also learned so much from the other members. I hope you get as much out of this site as I have.

Hi Every one,
In December I weighted in at 240 by March I was down to 219 and kept working and got down to 210. I then started to slack and now I am back to 220 so I started a mini challenge today to get back to where I want to be. I have 3 weeks to get back down to 210 but I really want to to get to 205 or lower. I am going to be using the Body By Vi Challenge shake mix for nutrition, Fat Secret to count cals and P90X for my exercise. I will make entries on a weekly basis. See you on the scale.
