I am having such a problem with night eating. I work second shift, and I get home at 11, and I want to scarf the whole house up. Last night I did pretty well, I ate some baby carrots and was able to go back to bed. I will lay there in bed, hungry and thinking about food. It is such a struggle. Does anyone else have this problem, and how do you deal with it?

I have that problem every hour of the day. When I am a good girl I am able to ignore those thoughts and desires for food by distracting myself, or if I am laying in bed wanting nothing more than to get up and eat everything within reach that I have been denying myself on my diet I have to give mself a mental kick in the ass and remember that I cannot lose weight while I am full and gorging, so I take power from the feeling of hunger and count it a good day and am able to rest. It's all mental, we have to remember to conquer our minds if we have any hope of conquering our bodies.

Have you tried allocating a small meal/snack for specifically for that time of day? Don't listen to all the hype about not eating before bed. It's a great time to eat, especially a high-protein/low-carb item that will take a long time to digest, allowing your body to burn other energy store while you sleep...

From your Diet Calendar it looks like you're doing a great job, and getting great results. Keep it up!

have you tried a snack with a bit of protein? I usually have some celery with peanut butter before bed & that has helped me alot.

I struggle all day too. Just started (for the umpteenth time), and hoping it gets easier. I will try the celery and peanut butter!

Late night over eating is my weakness as well. One thing that I find helps is making myself have a big glass of water before and after each "healthy snack" that way I feel full pretty quick!
