I am feeling bloated lately. I follow the "you On a Diet" plan for breakfast and lunch (same thing every day) with my own dinner plan. I began eating vegetarian in February 2012. I try to eat fresh foods and drink quite a bit of tea and water daily (maybe 64-70 oz per day). Bowels are good, just my stomach feels icky. Any suggestions for relief?

try to cut back on some foods that make your stomach feel icky and see if that helps. Once you pick up on whats bothering you then you can adjust your eating levels. I found that some of the dark leafy greens can make my stomack feel like canon balls and wars in there sometimes. I also found that eating a whole cucumber a day with all meals, kind of takes care of the icky feeling, and gets all the stuck gas in my body out. Sometimes i can feel like a hot air balloon that is ready to explode. Spinach in which i love is the worst on my stomach when its raw and i can't stand the site of it when its cooked. So i puree it and use it as a sauce or dipping sauce for different veggies. I cut back and no more tummy aches. I hope you find out what it is or else try some heart burn aid over the counter.

Since you already like teas - you might try either peppermint or ginger tea. You could also try eating a few pieces of crystalized ginger or fresh ginger root grated & the juice squeezed out & added to your water. It should be easy enough to find the teas & both have well deserved reps for tummy troubles. Ginger is particularly good for nausea - my sister swears by it & there have been studies showing it to be more effective than Dramamine for car sickness!

Nice! Thank You, exxtoexx and Tyny, for your suggestions. I have been eating spinach and Brussels sprouts, and I have eliminated both this past week and will start with just one for a week or so. I shave fresh ginger root (I keep mine frozen for easy shaving) into my bottled water already.

Sensitive belly issue?
Try psyllium whole husks. You can get it at Vitamin Shoppe and probably most drug stores. Has 5 carbs but also 5 dietary fiber and mixes with 8 ounces water. It is dry so it keeps well. 12 oz only ...

* on My Diet Calendar
jwill77nc2 is correct. Also, if there is NO asterisk (*) after the food or exercise then that number will not be counted in the Challenges and Contests and Mini Challenges this program offers.
