Hi Everyone, I've just joined the site today. I'm using the Cambridge Diet and eating low carb. I want to lose some weight and improve my health. I have MS and the research on low carb diets that I've read is very positive about the health benefits for people with inflamatory diseases so I'm giving it a go. I struggled to get my head out of the traditional low fat thinking for weight loss and found a book that really helped - Living Low Carb by Jonny Bowden. It's available on Amazon. It explains the science behind eating low carb and reviews 38 popular diets. I've decided to monitor my carb intake rather than following a specific plan as I find using the Cambridge Diet meal replacement bars and shakes very convenient for breakfast and lunch.

Love low carb! My body responds quickly to it, especially when I really stick to it at 100%. I lost my initial 20 lbs eating fresh foods such as chicken and fish. Love it, baby.
