Does my calorie allowance still stay the same even though I've lost weight?

I would recommend that you re-calculate your RDI every now and then. I have seen changes in RDI at about every 5 kgs (10 lbs) of weight loss. I'm sure you'll see the same.

I started my weight loss journey on October 4th, 2010 - and this is what I have accomplished so far:

I use the calorie counter app on my iphone for this. I have it calculate my necessary calories every so often and yeah, it did change when I lost weight. I used to get 1800 calories a day now only 1600.

Good luck.

kingkeld and wendydasher are right. Your metabolic rate is largely a function of your body mass, with lean mass having a greater effect than body fat.

As you lose weight, you burn fewer calories at rest and during activity. If you hold your calories constant, you will eventually plateau as your daily calorie burn declines to match your calorie intake.
