I weigh myself every morning when I get up. I do this to track my progress. To keep focused on my goal. To make any necessary adjustments.

I was weighing daily, first thing in the morning, but now am contemplating only once a week. I don't like the times when I have not strayed, but have gained weight from day to day, even though it might be water or some other temporary result.
I do think once a week makes the most sense, but each individual can determine what works best for them.

I weigh myself once a week - Saturday morning before breakfast. I am hoping that daily fluctuations would have less of an impact if I weigh myself once a week.
Sadly, I'm just losing around .2 kg per week. Ah well! At least, I'm not gaining.

I weigh myself every day, except on days when I know I messed up on my diet the day before. In that case, I wait a couple of days and work to burn off the excess calories before I weigh again. I weigh 1st thing in the morning, before I've ate or drank anything, without clothes on.

IMO - Better to weigh yourself every day - including the cheat days so you can see how and when it impacts you...

My cheat days usually don't show up right away. In fact, the day after I seem to lose a pound or so and then BAM on the days when I have done great, there it is two pounds. Kind of depressing but I did it to myself, huh?
Anyhow, I weigh every morning. Keeps me on my toes. Now I have a lot of work to do this week. Ate way too much this weekend. Cinco de Mayo and all....

Need suggestions on healthy/low-calorie foods.
I'm reading this while eating some absolutely delightful fresh melon for breakfast. If the melon isn't soft enough on its own you could add it to a fruit smoothie.

Hmmm. Didn't realize plain yogurt was that high in carbs. I mentioned it because the friend who recommended it to me said her parents do it, and they are both on Atkins. I'm doing Paleo, but ...
