I am new to this site. The reason I joined was to try and figure out how to drop some weight. Last August I had surgery to remove a blockage in my artery. Once they went in to clear the block, they realized they couldn’t clear it so they ended up removing it (12cm). I haven’t had a cigarette since my surgery (scared the hell out of me) but since I quit smoking I gained about 20 lbs. It’s been almost a year and it’s been so hard getting rid of these extra ponds. Anybody with any ideas would be great.

You've already done the best thing to get rid of those extra pounds. Joining this site will really help you keep focused.

Next, go to the "Look at Me" section. The before and after pics will give you motivation.

Besides, as a smoker, I can tell you that it's easier to get eating under control than to quit the cigs. You've done the tough one so we all know you can do the easier one. Smile
