Hello! Today is my first day on this website. I am joining my neighborhood gym and diet tomorrow. I have been "preparing" myself for this for a few days. Im tired of not knowing who i have become. Im looking for friends for encouragement.Wink

good luck achieving your goals
just keep in mind it's all about maintaining a caloric deficit and you do not have to restrict yourself from any food you want, eating when you're hungry (none of this meal timing and no carbs after 8 crap), or adding any ritualistic habits to your diet. just make sure it fits your daily calories. i also saw in another post that you are going to be resistance training as well so i suggest that you get atleast 1g of protein to be able to maintain (and hopefully build) muscle while losing fat. if you would like help on estimating your calorie needs check out this forum from nutrition section of bodybuilding.com forumshttp://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121703981

Welcome JazzyOwl...there's lots of people on this site that know what they're talkin' about. I've gotten encouragement just looking at other's sites and profiles. I look at what they are eating for meals and snacks and get ideas. Lots of people I admire on this site for staying committed. Good luck on your journey...and again, welcome!!
