Day 2 proved to be more successful than day 1. So what changed to help me get my steps in? Well, yesterday I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off, usually I would work in a department, get all my paperwork all at once, but yesterday I found a copier farther away, I climbed what felt like 2,500 steps instead of taking the elevator or escalator (I always seem to get behind someone who takes full advantage of the movement of an escalator and doesn't leave any room for little me to squeeze by). My husband, who fully supports my participation in this challenge, bundled up (I thought it was May)and headed out with the dogs after work for a 2 mile walk where my embarrassing arm pumping got out of control. An act my husband would prefer I didn't do but I had to get that heart rate up. So, drum roll please.......

Steps walked 11,694
Miles walked 5.17
Calories burned 324.

I am still behind from day 1 so today, another effort to the 10,000 step mark plus a little make up. Pedometers on, LET'S MOVE.

Best time for doing exercise, morning or night?
I prefer to exercise in the morning too. Partly because by the time evening rolls around, I'm worn out (two toddlers will do that to you) and partly because I just know me. If I get up at 5:30am, ...
