Truly amazing, Miranmao! Congratulations! In 7 months, no less - you are extremely disciplined! Excellent - I need to follow your method! Keep it up!

@Kingkeld, the BF scales are tricky ... not as accurate as one would hope. 6% body fat would be hard to sustain. 10-14% is considered really excellent for everyday living.

I just received calipers for skin fold measurements and think, on balance, they are suppose to offer better measurements. Though, with loose skin, it may be tough to register your true body fat percentage with calipers. Fantastic work, if you are 6%! Olympic sprinters, etc. are in the 6-10% range. But .. in general, Kingkeld, excellent work, as I have been following your weight loss journey which is remarkable too! Inspiring, both of you.

@ Kingkeld: Thanks for your compliment, I am amazed of the result myself because I never thought that I can go this far in shaping up my body Very Happy

I have a scale of the same kind, too, and am measuring my body fat with it. But I also think one should not have too much confidence in what these scales are telling you... somebody told me in the past that the measurements also depend on how dampish your feet soles are at the moment you are weighing and other circumstances. I see this measurements just as crude values.

BTW, I read today one of your comments in which you mentioned the SwiftKey X keyboard for your Samsung Galaxy 10.1N; I have the same tablet computer and because of your comment I downloaded this keyboard as well and am writing with it right now.. Works fine, thanks for the hint Wink

I just wanted to say thank you to all those who have shared their before and after pics. I'm 4 months in to my weight loss journey, and after losing a little over a stone, but not feeling or looking any different and now I have reached a plateau, I am feeling very down about it. However these pics have once again inspired me to keep at it and reach my goal. Hopefully soon I will be able to add my pics to this thread. Keep up the good work everyone! =]

So here are some of my Before and DURING pictures. I have a lot more to lose, but i think I'm making really good progress. The 'Befores'--the ones with me in my grad cap & gown, and me in the pink shirt--are at about 260, and the "Durings" --green shirt and black shirt--are from today, at 219. (Sorry for some of the bad quality before pictures... I hated having my picture taken so they're candid and taken without me noticing a lot hah)

Yay! Almost half way to my goal!

There is a skinny woman hiding inside of me, I keep her there with chocolate. (author unknown)

When I buy cookies I eat just four and throw the rest away. But first I spray them with Raid so I won't dig them out of the garbage later. Be careful, though, because that Raid really doesn't taste that bad. (Janette Barber)

Just wanted to post a more current before and after picture since this thread is still around. Smile My original post was on page 2 and was a good number of pounds ago. I've been successfully mainintaining for over 1 year now. (I had to create a new profile after my old ones data became corrupted so it was under sherilyn70 instead)

Wonderful inspiration! TIP for iPhone self-portraits: use your phone's + volume button instead of the shutter button on the screen to more easily take a one-handed shot. Also, wear short sleeves, a tank, shorts or a fitted garment and be sure the background has plenty of contrast (like a black t-shirt against a white wall) to show the most obvious results. Keep it up!
