just wondering if people have had any experience of this weight loss aid and if they would recommend it or the opposite?

Alli really only helps if you're doing a low-fat diet, because it stops your body from processing fat. The problem with this is orlistat can't distinguish between good fat and bad fat so mono and polysaturated fats which are vital to weight loss, muscle gain, and overall well being are not absorbed by the body.

Have you taken a look at the side effects?
Edit: i read the wiki for it, and I think you might be better off with a reduced calorie healthy diet. you have to do it on alli anyways...

A friend of mine tried it and had migraines and really bad stomach cramps, but I don't believe she was actually 'dieting' with it. I'd steer clear of it!
