I'm trying to calculate my RDI and what I actually burn each day without buying a Body Bugg and using the calculator on FatSecret. It seems that when I log my rest, sleep, sitting, standing and 30 min exercise, it's quite high... somewhere around 2900 per day. To lose 2 lbs a week, I'd have to subtract 1000 cals per day for food so I should be consuming 1900... I don't know, it seems high. Anyone else find that the calculator on here high? Maybe it's just me Confused

remember it is just an estimate that needs to be fine tuned to you because of genetics and what not. see this link for help on calculating calorie needs http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=121703981
your deficit should be no more than 20% of your maintenance.
