Hey guys. I joined this site in August and have since lost around 20 lbs. I did this through using the calorie count app and working out at least 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes.
My problem is that about 3-4 weeks ago I got super busy at school and with my kids and just quit working out and quit using the calorie app! I haven't noticed any weight gain on the scale, BUT I feel really flabby again ;(
Anyone have any words of wisdom or advice to get back in the routine? I still want to lose this extra 25 pounds by May!
Oh and I am not eating terribly, but not as good as before. But NO exercise at all.

Just start today. I am having the same problem. I work full time during the day and go to school full time at night, and about a month ago, life just got too hectic and exhausting to find the time to work out or care about tracking my calories, so I quit. But with finals happening now, we can look to the future and just start again. I say treat each day as an opportunity to make good decisions, so tomorrow we can make the choices to eat better and work out. Remember whatever motivated you in August and try to find that enthusiasm today (or at least that is what I have done).

try to plan your workout in your schedule. put it in your blackberry or iphone or whatever...and then you will have time for your workout. i know how hard it is and can be....
i work fulltime during day mo - fr, go to school saturday, and at nights and weekend i work as a bartender just to get the money for my studies. so i don't really have much time. i have to work, to learn for school, and i also have family. but i do a weekly schedule and in that - i write down the time for my workout.

Seriously though, just start going at it again. You're a rational being that can will yourself into doing things, yes? If you really want to start exercising, then do it. Or if you don't, then don't! If you think exercising is hard or no fun, you don't have to do it. No one is making you. But a year from now when you're 30 pounds heavier, you'll sure wish you would have started today.

I notice the same thing when I stop working out- if you lose muscle, it's possible to not gain weight on the scale but still be larger and flabbier, which tends to be what I observe. Make time for those workouts! Get up early, whatever it takes! You have to prioritize you and your health in your life.

I also have this issue. I was doing great with my workouts in July, August and September and had been losing inches everywhere! I was soo proud of myself and felt great. However, I am a graduate student and I have an internship and school and there is just very little time to workout at all
And, when I do have time I'm either so exhausted that I just want to catch up on sleep or hangout with friends. It has been really difficult to get back into that routine. However, I want to try again and I have started by writing down SPECIFICALLY what days I will workout, for how long, and what I will do in those workouts. I find that writing it down helps me commit to it a little more. Maybe try doing this and also try doing workouts that are short, yet intense and effective. I recommend Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred! It is REALLY intense and REALLY works! Plus, it only takes 20 minutes and you will see results! It worked for me, and I hope it will work again if I keep up with it. Hope this helps!

Any habit is hard to get into! It happens with anything! I started exercising the other day and now I'm compelled to do it again. Try writing a list. Getting organizes is the first step. Good luck!
