Hello,

First time posting.

I am having a difficult time managing my diabetes.
I am having trouble planning my weekly/daily meal plans.
I am having trouble committing to an exercise plan.

I previously was doing very well until last year. I had a food diary, blood sugar log and was committed to my health. I lost 30 pounds and my A1C1 dropped.

September 2011, my 3 grandkids moved in and my routine went out the window. They moved out at Christmas 2011 and I just can't get back in the routine. I have gained 25 of the 30 pounds I lost previously.

Is there anywhere I can go for a fresh start which has advice and suggestions?

Thank you,
Wanda

It sounds like your plan last year worked really well. Would it help to write it on a piece of paper and put it up where you can see it?
I also find procrastination sometimes stops me from starting any projects. It's better to just jump in without thinking too much. Make your next meal a healthy one.
Regarding exercise any movement counts. Start with walking and do more as you get fitter.
Good luck!

I would not necessarily recommend 2000 calories. Use the calculator, to make sure. The RDI (recommend det daily intake) varies a LOT from person to person. If you feel that you want a faster weight loss ...
