Make sure you show it who is boss next time! The energy you will gain from your run will far exceed the energy you will gain from your extra snooze! Smile

Ok, sorry... just looked at your profile and you obviously don't need any motivation to stick to running Smile Hope I didn't over step my bounds!

Mama cracker, I think that's good advice in general. You have to make some sacrifices to reach your goals! Even the best of us occasionally give into the temptation to hit the snooze button, stay at home on the couch or order take-out in place of making a healthy dinner but that has to be the exception. Success requires that you consistently put your healthly lifestyle first!

When I get up early for the gym I totally have to have the alarm way on the other side of the room so that I have to physically get up out of bed.. then it's less likely that I'll crawl back into bed! Also, the alarm app on my phone makes me do math problems before it will let me hit snooze or dismiss - that usually wakes me up!!

Someone who is busier than you is working out right now.
There will come a day when you can no longer do this. Today is not that day.

Anyone using the Fitbit Flex or similar devices?
I have a bodymedia fit and love it. It really helps keep you motivated and focused. It does allow you to sync with a heart rate monitor, but I find it has been a good tool regardless.
