Insanity will help you drop weight but as with all workouts, EAT RIGHT for it to work properly.

I can now just use insanity and p90x off and on and keep weight off pretty much at will within a week or so. I completed p90x last year in jan, and did insanity last sept. Gained 7 lbs over xmas but have been weight training too so not too worried about. I'll say it again, its alll about will power.

I actually have the Insanity workout "collection" I suppose you'd call it, but haven't started it yet. I realized that yeah, at first it'll be extremely intimidating(considering my lack of being in shape) - but I think I can do it! It'll be hard, and exhausting - but so worth it in the end.

I think I'm going to be throwing that into my weekly routine.

Thanks everyone for posting your feedback!

Insanity is awesome. The diet plan was the only one that I have been able to follow due to my extreme pickiness when it comes to food. I lost 30 pounds just doing month one for 3 months. The moves can be intimidating at first but just modify them until you feel strong enough to go all out. I still modify some of the moves due to my bad knees and weak ankles.

I'm in week 3 of insanity! I was not expecting an ass kicking everyday! But that's my kind of workout. I have a friendly competition among 2 other people to see who can get in the best shape after the 60 day program. So far the results have been exciting. I try to include other workouts on top of Insanity. I'm watching what i eat and eating 5 meals a day. I cut out all sugar, junk foods and alcohol. I'm also taking supplements and protein to help build muscle. I'm in it to win it Wink

Anyone using the Fitbit Flex or similar devices?
I have a bodymedia fit and love it. It really helps keep you motivated and focused. It does allow you to sync with a heart rate monitor, but I find it has been a good tool regardless.
