I am really into quotes. Sometime the right one can pump me up. I though it would be fun to share a couple of my favorites.

-Beverly Sills

I live by this one. Every time I think about cheating I remember what it was like to be 210lbs and 23% bodyfat.

Funny- I've always hated this quote. Then again, I stay away from anything that focuses on "thin" or "skinny." You don't diet yourself healthy!

Yes you do. If I were morbidly obese, ran 5 miles a day, and ate 4000 calories of crap I would be much less healthy than if I ate 2000 calories of whole unprocessed foods and did free weights three times a week for 30 minutes.

I think Nat just means that the goal shouldn't be "skinny" - it should be "healthy" or "fit"... There are plenty of skinny people in the world that are not healthy just because they have a high metabolism or 'good' genes. Skinny shouldn't be the main focus.. so maybe the quote should say "Nothing tastes as good as fitness feels"... but it just doesn't have the same ring to it.. Smile

I'm quite sure Dr. King didn't mean weight loss, however, I choose to think of his words with that in mind. See sig.

Not weight loss related, but I LOVE this one:

"Only two things are infinite: The Universe and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe."
- Albert Einstein.

...and learning that Kate Moss is the owner of the "nothing tastes..." quote, I felt compelled to take it off my signature. I can't stand her. Smile
"Keep your friends close, your enemies closer, and the cookies at the other end of the table."
- Kingkeld.
"Eat less, move more, lose weight."
- Kingkeld.
"Do. Or do not. There is no trying."
- Master Yoda.

I started my weight loss journey on October 4th, 2010 - and this is what I have accomplished so far:
