I eat the RediEggs - 1/4 cup only 30 calories and the new bagel thins are great too, only 110 calories. Sometimes I chop veggies and have then in the fridge so I can add them to the eggs. You can add cheese, I usually don't but the 2% cheese is pretty good if you want cheese. It keeps me full for quite a while. I usually have a piece of fresh fruit before lunch. I try and space foods out instead of eating everything at once too. Good luck
There are alot of good ideas here! Now I am craving egg salad and that oatmeal egg pancake thing sounds very interesting too.
August 1, 2005 I weighed in at 415 lbs! I am not that person anymore but I am not the person I want to be either. I have started a new journey to lose ALL the weight and gain the whole ME

I make an egg casserole every week and eat a piece a day for breakfast. Saves a lot of time if you are in a rush in the mornings and it's really good.
One version uses eggbeaters (southwest), another one uses eggs.
Spray a baking pan (9 x 12 is what I use)
Add a bag of frozen spinach and/or whatever veggies you like, fresh or frozen
Add a cup or two of grated cheese - I use 2% sharp cheddar
Pour 16oz of eggbeaters (the large carton) or 12 eggs scrambled over it.
Put in oven at 375 for 30 minutes, cut into 8 pieces.
Mine comes out to about 160 calories a piece.
Sometimes I eat it cold, sometimes microwave, sometimes on a whole grain sandwich thin.
Keeps me full and has a full serving of protein and veggies too.

I eat the Apples & Cinnamon instant Oatmeal and either Banana, Grapes, or Watermelon for breakfast. I eat this between 6am-630am. I also get hungry around 930am. So at 930 I eat a Quaker Chewy snack bar and a bottle of water. I'm not hungry at all after that, and I'm not starving at lunch either after that. That works for me, but everyone has to find their own thing that works for them.

My breakfast has to be portable becuase I eat at work. I really like 1/2 C cottage cheese, 2 Tbsp milled flax seed, 1 C berries and 8oz low fat berry flavored yogurt. Layer it like a parfait and it is so delicious!
If I am at home I make scrambled eggs with one whole egg and 2 egg whites, lots of veggies like peppers, onions, spinach or broccoli. Steam 2 baby red potatoes and chop them up, put the eggs on those, top with a little cheese and salsa for a healthy version of huevos rancheros!

Cottage cheese on a piece of nice Rye bread keeps me nice and full. Sometimes I have some berries with it. The nice thing is that its also very quick to make.

A Pack of flavored instant oatmeal (130 cal) mixed with 1/4 cup whole oats (75cal) adds up to a pretty big bowl of chow and sticks with me from 530am until my first fruitsnack at 930am and only 205cal for a breakfast is a good start to the day.

Cottage cheese or greek yogurt are my first breakfast (high protein). Then I ususally have a piece of fruit a few hours later.

Gotta have a blend of carbs & protein.
1 large egg (or half cup cottage cheese)
3 strips turkey bacon
1 banana
This 255 calorie breakfast keeps me fuller than the cereal/banana combo that I used to eat, and it had 330 calories.

Another vote for Greek yogurt! I have a serving of it with half a cup of Kashi GoLean Crunch mixed in, and it keeps me going for hours. I have recently started adding a tablespoon of ground flaxseed meal for a little extra fiber and omega 3.
