Ok, I seem to always be starting the day wrong! Anyone got some good breakfast suggestions that dont require a gourmet chef? I always do the wrong thing with breakfast and indulge in a sweet pastry or croissant with a coffee. I refuse to give up my morning coffee, but I need some good, quick alternatives for breakfast that are ok on stage 1.... THANK YOU ALL!!!

Since you like having something carby in the am try Old Wessex Ltd Irish Style Oatmeal. Takes 5 minutes. But once you serve up the cereal, add a heaping Tbs of vanilla flavored whey protein then a splash of non-fat milk and/or blueberries and bananas.

Thanks everyone, and since finding my book I am reformed! Currently enjoying raspberry smoothies in the morning, with a cup of organic coffee and of course the Cocktail on waking up. I'm going to check if the smoothie is in the recipes and if not, add it!

This is a great time to make your own cranwater while they are in season. I get a bag of cranberries for 99 cents here so you are saving bundles; it is however, a little time consuming.
