I am going to a function in a couple of weeks and I don't want to be the fat one. Can someone help me with some tips or a diet that actually works please?

Xta, I took a quick look at your profile. I'm afraid there there is no "diet that actually works" that will make you lose 10 kgs in a couple of weeks. What DOES work is slower and consistent weight loss using the tools available here on FatSecret.
At 77 kgs, you're hardly gonna be the "fat one" there.
If you're not comfortable with your size, I suggest you look around on the website, find a diet that suits your needs and your life style and take a longer term dedication to doing this.
It can be done, and it doesn't have to be difficult. I'm living proof.
I hope you reach your goals and enjoy the ride.

In two weeks the most you can realistically hope to lose is 5 lb and even then that will be a miracle. So the best advice is to buy something nice that fits properly for the event. Loads of women squash themselves in clothes too small or drown themselves in clothes too big. If you treat yourself to something in a flattering style that fits properly you won't look fat, just elegant. Then you can carry on eating sensibly after the event so the next time something important comes round you are the size you want to be.

I agree with CherryPie, buy yourself a very flattering outfit that fits the body you have now, not the body you would like to have. You will feel great because you know you look great.
Realistically you are not going to lose enough weight in two weeks to make you happy. The best thing you can do health wise is work out every day and tone up. Even after a week of weight lifting and cardio you will feel better thus having more confidence at your function.
I have lost 50 lbs in two years, it takes time, but with patience comes rewards.

Avocado mixed with salt, pepper, chives, a little white vinegar just to make smooth. Mix it up and spread it on bread w/ a tomato and spinach leaves! THE BEST!!!

If I weigh myself daily I know the result is a myth. There are too many variables to rely on a once a day reading, such as water retention, forgotten calories,temperature/humidity on scale reading (either ...
