Anyone know how to lose it or keep it under control. Especially around the abs and hip area? Need advice desperately. No matter what I do, it will not go away.

It will be hard since your metabolism slows down during menopause. I can't really offer advice from experience but eating smaller portions/healthier and exercising more always helps. My mother has been struggling with her weight since menopause and it doesn't seem like diet pills or skipping meals has helped her (nor would it help anyone!). As for exercise, she goes to these line dance classes with my father that other middle-aged people go to and they both have tons of fun.

Thanks a bunch ladies, I will just keep trucking away. It took me 3 months last year to lose 10 lbs. Seems like I am repeating the same this year.
