How to synchronize with the android site

The android app automatically syncs your information to your account here on the website. IT is a great tool especially with the barcode scanner!

Does anyone know how to stay logged in? I just updated my phone and now I have to login each time I try to use the app. Hate it now Sad

It should automatically stay logged in. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

I can't synchronise either. Every time I click on the icon, I get an error message saying that synchronisation is deactivated but will become available soon. I have un- and re-installed the app, but still no joy. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Same to me. I got a new smartphone and now everything is lost because I do not know how to backup. I was not asked for a email adress or my fatsecret account.
Can anyone help?

I have the same issue, lost all my data and cannot log in via the app (keeps saying username/password mismatch).
Every time i try to add food on the web site i keep getting the error page!!
Does anything work on this site and is there anyone fixing these things lol?

Oh no, mine works and is the American version. I don't have to log in and it automatically syncs. Good luck! Maybe contact the website and ask them to troubleshoot?

Well, I'm using the brazilian version of the android app, and I'm having the same problem.

It seems to me that the SYNCH option hasn't been, for some odd reason, activated in foreign versions of the app.

I wonder when will they make changes to that, because there's no way I'll manually transfer data from the app to the website.

Solution: Just change Location to United States in Settings and synchronization will become enabled. I was using Polish version and it worked for me.

When does the app synchronize?
My entered food doesn't show up on the website, and I have no choice to sync manually, it seems.also the German version set to US.

The first sync worked, although some info seems to be missing.maybe too long in the past?

I had the same issue on Italian version.

solution is switch tu US version.

next time you start the app you will be prompted to login or register fatsecret.

Pay attention that you will be asked to delete either the telephone data or the web data!

This app is crap. Almost a year and no solution at all. Uninstalling NOW.

issue with the app
I just re.-downloaded this app. I used it begore on my old phone and loved it. Its excellent. I'm finding my food diary screen is displaying multiple screens at the same time. Is it a bug? Liz
