So, I could use a little feedback (I'm only on week two of Induction and want to make sure I do this right). Dinner out tonight at Chipotle and this is what I THINK is right or the best option:
Chicken breast, Fajita Veggies, Cheese, Tomato Salsa, and lots of lettuce, perhaps guacamole on the side. = 13ish Net carbs (with Guac) or about 10 without guac.
No Rice
No Beans
No Sour Cream

Anyone else venture into Chipotle while doing Induction? Smile

Thanks!

hmm only your second week... think it's too late to convince you that atkins utilizes arbitrary dietary restrictions that are not necessary for weightloss.
calories in v calories out is what governs weight control.

The Battle of the Diets: Is Anyone Winning (At Losing?) Please watch this on youtube, outcome of several research studies from Stanford University. Far from arbitrary dietary restictions, there is more than enough research based evidence to prove that low carb is the way to go!!

If the entire salad keeps you under the 20 net carb limit for the day then I don't see why not.

interesting video but does not seem to support your enthusiastic claim and it is way more nuanced, not considering that despite some interesting considerations the samples sizes are very small.

ALL the major studies that have looked into macro impact on weight loss with a large enough sample and a non biased design (ie not run by atkins and Co,) have shown no significant impact of macronutrients on weight loss long term. Calorie deficit is by far the most important element to achieve sustainable weight loss, and that is without considering the dubious long term health effects of very high protein diets on kidneys, cancer risk and other health issues.

There is probably a small number of people for whom some diet approaches work better than other because of extreme hormonal profiles, but it does not seem to be as common as some people believe

First day thoughts
It's definitely possible. I gained a lot of weight with each of my pregnancies. My youngest is 9 months and in the past 7 months I've lost almost 50 lbs through diet and exercise.
