I have gained weight through the winter months and i need to get focused and get this weight off. I have liver problems plus an under active thyroid. Any suggestions? Anyone willing to help me keep focused? I work retail and am on my feet 8 hrs a day, so exercise is really hard to get in...HELP!!

Check out coconut oil. I've recently been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid (slightly). My naturopath suggested that I cut corn and soy from my diet and introduce coconut oil. I'm supposed to eat 2 tsp of coconut oil/day. 3 months later, my thyroid tested normal. But it is very hard to avoid corn and soy.

I did not know about the Coconut oil. Interesting. Yes..when you are on your feet all day at work, it's hard. Maybe just a 3o minute walk in the afternoon. Standing all day..should count for some exercise, I would think.
Let us know how Saturday goes?

I'll be your buddy! I was actually thinking that I wish I had a buddy too
It actually looks like we are pretty similar in our weights and goals too. Write me back if you're still interested!

I need a buddy also. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure because I was forced into a health screening at work which eventually led to a reveal about my thyroid. Now I am on daily meds and really hate it. My aim is to learn to focus on taking care of myself & develop healthy habits. Exercising - I'm the worst. I have started trying to consume more coconut like Losin25, too soon to know if anything I am doing is working at all. Hope to hear back from you.

Hey QP! Have you read any literature on changing your diet to deal with high blood pressure? I'm not sure that coconut oil alone will do the trick.
Here
is a short summary of what most doctors recommend.
Good luck! Getting control of your blood pressure will improve your quality of life immeasurably!

Drink lots of water. If you can, try drinking the Benefiber packets in your bottled water. It keeps you feeling full which helps during the detox phase and it helps with bloat, belly fat, and energy.
