Be careful of Dukan Online Coaching. If you sign up for it you have to pay for it and you can NOT change your mind after 3 days or they will keep your money.
Hmmmmmm, I know that is the law, but some companies that are confident of their product will allow more time for a guarantee. I thought I saw online that you had 7 or 8 days to decide but that is ONLY in the UK! My fault that I didn't read the agreement closely enough, and I learned a hard and expensive lesson, but I still want to warn you in advance. Atkins is free and their website won't bump you out all the time either! I had to keep re-logging into Dukan! That might get better. I did lose 5 lbs in 5 days, but then decided that the diet was bland and boring and I was STARVING a lot. The little bit of fat I get on Atkins helps me stay satisfied longer and the food tastes better. Ever try fat-free cottage cheese, fat-free sour cream and/or fat-free cream cheese....the taste is not very good and the texture isn't very satisfying either. I also think they replace the fat with more chemicals. But on a good note, this little diversion from Atkins to Dukan made me realize that I can now stick with Atkins! I am much happier on it!
Good luck to those of you on Dukan, it may be the right diet for some of you, but it isn't for me!!!!!

Good on you for trying out new thing and finding what works for you. I agree that an Atkins type diet is amazingly effective and amazingly delicious!
I've looked in to the Dukan Diet a little bit and it seemed like a kinda strange diet. I couldn't find much in the way of why it is supposed to work other than that it is an odd take off of a low-carb diet. Atkins is much more sensible.

I tried it as well and agree with what you say 100%. I'm from the US and live in the UK and when I realized you can't find fat free sliced/grated cheese here, it clicked that I would have to go 3 months without cheese. (I don't count Quark and Cream Cheese as real cheese, sorry). I love cheese too much to ever be able to do that and not cheat.
I'm also trying to get into Atkins now satisfied it's the saner choice.
The only thing I've ever successfully made in the kitchen is a mess. And several small fires.- Carrie in Sex and the City

Dukan works for me: fish, file mignon, fat-free Greek yogurt and lost of spices. I'm *never* hungry but I eat regularly to keep my metabolism going. I like fat free cottage cheese and I'm going to try even fat free sour cream.
Not all fat-free product are created equal, I agree. Those that add bulk form pectin are fine, though.
The scale says this diet works for me as well.
