I started the Roca Labs System on 5/15/12. I am losing 2.0 lbs each day. By 5/17/12 I'd lost 2" from my waist and 1" from around my buttock and thighs. I feel great, energized never hungry or craving for anything. I eat because I know I should, I drink lots of water. I have not had any side effects with exceptions of a little diahrea the first 2 days but that is normal because my body was getting used to the fiber.Check it out at

That is a bit harsh, but jeshalll you have to understand that many of us on this web site have had expierence with these fad diets, that are usually expensive as well, and none of them work. Looking at your diet calender this just looks like a extremely low calorie diet. You will lose weight but you will lose lean body mass along with some fat. You might even reach your goal but how will you sustain your weight loss? So as you start to eat normally your body will replace all of the fat you lost as it now is expecting another famine. The focus of this community is to lose weight thru healthy eating and exercise. If you are interested in that you will find a lot of support here.

So basically this crap is just a buttload (pun intentional) of soluble fiber. Mix up a bunch of fiber sludge and choke it down half an hour before a meal, and you'll lose weight.
There! I saved you hundreds of dollars. You can send me 10%.

ahahah I love the stuff you post hoser. You crack me up!
of course you would lose weight eating a buttload of fiber... Every moment of your day will be spent constipated on the toilet trying to eliminate the fiber sludge you paid and arm and leg for. You'll lose weight because you cannot eat...you're stuck in the bathroom.

Millalite deserves a drumroll and a rimshot for that quip. Awesome job.
Did you guys know that you have to sign an agreement with the company when you order the powder? the agreement has, in fine print, that you cannot badmouth the product at all on the internet or they will sue you.
excuse me, what?

Also, People who have tried this slushiepowder have said that it tastes like crap. like, have to choke it down kind of bad. Can you imagine...the horrible consequences on your health ingesting mass amounts of fiber?
Its like turning your intestines into a slip n slide. without all the fun.
(no icky goop for me, I'm too busy enjoying my salmon!)

My best friend saw an ad for the Roca Labs diet. She was about 35lbs over weight. She tried every fad diet there was and decided that maybe she'd invest in her health one time and try the diet. Yes. She was apprehensive about the fine print, but she made the decision to purchase it anyway.
Like jeshall, she told me about the diarrhea, but it only lasted a couple of days. After that, she lost 12lbs in two weeks using the formula. Her blood sugar level has been more controllable because the formula has an ingredient that helps with this. The formula does work. You just have to make the decision to invest invest in your health. I believed it saved her life.

Sanity check... she was 35 pounds overweight, and you credit this with saving her life? Something doesn't add up.

show us clinical trials that this works...
Oh wait, no such thing. Darn! Little stories and ancedotes don't cut it in the real world. Cut it out, or I will start finding clinical trials that show reasonable diets work, not these stupid snake oil fad starvation diets. I will do it. Watch me.
Oh and that puppet account...nice work! I was almost fooled. Next time use kermit the frog. You'll get more people to believe you.

Hahaha - I love when someone posts about a crazy fad diet and as soon as their BS is called, a brand new FS member pops up on the exact same day and just happens to have oodles of good things to say about the fad... Such a funny coincidence!!

Crissy80 - you signed up 10 days ago with a weigh in of 250. Your profile says you have 70 pounds to lose. Yet you've not logged a single weigh in, food or exercise since joining on May 11. If your "friend" saved her life losing 35 pounds on the "formula," then perhaps you should give it a shot too?

I couldn't have come up with that without your and Hoser's input. You guys led up to that beautifully! And I did read some of the blog you shared. I feel sorry for that poor woman's legal troubles. It's such a shame that terrible business practices prey on the vulnerability and desperation of the truly obese.
