Twenty years and 100 lbs later. More evidence that Slimfast is not a good idea.

I've been up and down. And I just can't take it anymore. The quick diets always rebound me higher. Mentally.. I'm just not going to go thought it again. I'm trying keep my line focused on slow and steady. A maintainable plan that I can do long term.... I'm two months in and have had very little discomfort. So I'm happy. Though secretly I do want to lose weight faster! Thus, this post!

Do you think you can go a life time drinking expensive sugar filled drinks over eating healthy balanced meals that taste so much better and are better for you? Twice a day every day. Or when you're done with losing desired amount are you going to switch to real food ? If so why not do it now. You can still use the shake on a day you didn't have time to make breakfast or lunch and don't want to starve.

I started Slim fast on Dec 17 2010 at 240 and I'm now at 179.6 so yes in fact that would be 60 lbs in three months. I know that is over the two to three pounds a week but actually the first three weeks is when I had the major weight loss and then it has averaged 2.8 a week.
I also eat a lot of Kale, ginger, raw honey and apple cyder viniger in my 500 calorie balanced meal recipes and drink Oolong tea which are all supposed to be fat burning super-foods
So good luck and stick to it twenty lbs in two months is very realistic... Go for it

thanks for all the replies..hopefully i'll have enough will power to cut out all the sweets.

The good thing about slim fast is the snack bars are sweets just small sized so they help take the edge off sweets cravings
