I have been struggling over the past year to work on losing weight. I have an awesome husband who loves me for who I am. For my health I need to lose weight. I need to find people who can help me stay motivated. I have to lose over 70lbs. I started back in slowly watching what I eat and am stalling starting to work out again. I am looking fro suggestions and some good help.

Thanks

Hi BBwiatch...my best advice right now is to check in on any of the forums that interest you...check out the before and after picture forum...very inspiring and motivational. then, check out some journals and diet calenders of people that may seem similar to you. I find it much easier to relate to people that have (or had)similar weight to lose like me.

Good luck and remember this is NOT a sprint...it IS a marathon and slow and steady will truly win the race Smile

I have been dieting since December of 2009 and have lost 56lbs so far and still have another 77lbs to go. I also have a very supportive husband who loves me just as I am. But about a year and a half ago my husband had a heart attack which was an eye opener for me as to what road I am headed down if I do not get working on being healthier. I have 3 wonderful children and would like to watch them grow up and be around to enjoy grand children someday. So I decided that for me I needed to lose weight. It has been an on going effort and I often find myself falling off of the band wagon when I get to those stalling spots where it seems like no matter how hard you try you just cant lose an once. I was on my own diet plan for awhile but then decided to try the slim-fast diet as a way to help me control my caloric intake. If you are interested in being "diet buddies" let me know maybe we could help motivate one another.

Good luck & happy dieting
Trisha
