You're assuming that the veggies they're eating aren't high in protein though. You're also assuming no dairy or beans. So don't lump them into the same situation you're in. Smile

Everyday i eat 100-400 grams of veggetables for breakfast, also everyday a yogurth and cheese. I already made a post about that here. Anyway looks to me that you must have been one of the mean girls in school. I don't want to be on your bad side, you're not worth the arguing. Goodbye

Snow, I don't think that kind of negativity is the point in any of these forums. Everyone has a different path (congrats to Sherilyn on your amazing weightloss!) and what works for some may not work for others. This post originated when you were asking for opinions from others on your diet. The community is giving them to you. If you do not actually want to acknowledge the suggestions then it may be best to remove the thread.

Be Healthy. Be happy. Best of luck!

I see Sherilyn as a bully karabeth and i don't value people like that. I did change some things with my diet because of some good advices from nice people from this post. Thanks to all of them Smile

yea i guess im one of those crazy protein eaters lol, looking at your intake it does look a little low in protein and too high in the sugar and carbs even though your total calorie intake is low.Your training seems sufficient as per your intake so im sure you are loseing weight.im not sure i'd survive on such a low calorie intake but if it works for you, keep it up! I Hope its sustainable!
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.

Thank you Marty. Well guys need more calories then women. I'm on some kind of a diet since june so my body addapted to a lower calorie intake, it was a day to day process. Now i feel great with 650/850 calories a day. I believe that i will make it. This is my new life style now, i have no problems with it Wink

If you think I'm a bully because I responded to the snide comment YOU made, well then you are definitely entitled to that belief. You were the one that talked about being "crucified" to someone that said they eat lots of veggies.

The point still stands though, we don't know what veggies they are eating but we do know which ones you have shown in your journal. Brocolli, asparagus, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, etc are all high in protein. Beans are even higher. You don't need to eliminate carbs or even eat meat to get a high protein intake.

Thanks karabeth... it has been an amazing journey losing 105 pounds and then maintaining it for the last 1 1/2 years.

The best diet is the diet that works for YOU. If you are achieving the results you want, and you and your Doctor are comfortable with the approach, who cares what anybody else thinks?
