Hi everyone. I am wondering if anyone is interested in joining me on a book study for the book "a course in weight loss" by Marianne Williamson
21 spiritual lessons for surrendering your weight forever

I've started reading this book which dives deep into the root of the problem from where it stems. I would love to have some other people who are interested in the same type of exploration to perhaps read the book and share with me as we figure this stuff out together.

I have only gotten to the third lesson and already I have went through some pretty powerful emotional healing because of it.

I started a group called "a course in weight loss by Marianne Williamson" I would love it if some of you would come join the group and go through this with me. I need your support in this. If you feel a slight inclination to do it, I would suggest googling the book title and author and check it out.

Thanks, I hope to see somebody join the group, its lonely in there lol

Hmmmm no replies if anyone is interested in just talking about some of their emotional baggage or working through it in whatever way they are able then feel free to join the group I created regardless of whether or not your reading the book. It might help you and you could certainly help others.

I'm not online every day, but I'm up for a weight loss buddy.

I think it's absolutely essential to clean up one's closet when it comes to emotions and weight loss. I have not read the book, but I have been around the same topics myself, and try to help others do it too.

Feel free to add me as a buddy, should you like.

I think that when it comes to losing weight you must have willpower and the desire to change your habits because without this you are guaranteed to fail. More great tips at http://getyouridealbodyweight.sitemoxie.com

I agree wkirby1 I have not started this forum thread for the purpose of excluding any aspect of weight loss. I am simply proposing a shoulder to lean on for those who want to dig deep at the same time as following their own personal diet and exercise routines. Smile

Hi. I love Marianne Williamson! I have not read the book, but will now. I didn't realize she came out with a new one. I can always use emotional support when it comes to food/body image issues and self acceptance. I'd love to be buds and see if we can't get rid of some of this baggage! Smile

Thank you so much, one person already joined the group and she intends to buy the book. I'm excited about discussing and sharing some things and working it all out together. I will for sure add you achieve130.

Interesting book I'll check it out. I'm realizing more and more that my cravings are due to stress. Totally need to learn to eat to live and not live to eat!

I am getting ALOT out of the book personally. I am considering posting my letters from my not-thin self to my thin self and visa versa. That was a very powerful exercise, I have a feeling it would be helpful to others. I welcome anyone to come join the group once you start reading the book or even if you are not reading the book. There are two of us in there and already some good sharing is going on.
