I'm not sure if there is a link for establishing your own diet. When I started my own diet, I just recorded my meals based on the parameters I established for myself. In my opinion, you need the flexibility to set your own diet guidelines and follow them at your own pace; there is no "one size fits all" to dieting. However you decide to begin, I wish you well and hope you reach your goal! Hope this helps.

I think if you simply don't pick a specific diet when you start over, then it makes it your "own diet".
