Helcha, I hear ya! Soooooooooo many WW memberships - I should've bought stock back in 1981. This time I'm using my points materials and going it alone - joined fatsecret for support, guidance and a place to get ideas. Oh, ya, weighing in and seeing the chart is also a good visual tool. Hang in there - I'm with you. Do you know about the Core program? I'm not sure if I should just stick to my points. Thanks, Marina

I have just set myself an xmas goal as well. I think it's good to have both shorter and longer term targets to give you focus and hope.
Helcha, wishing you the best on sticking to the program and the points...

I have started WW many times too, I am ready to start the new year off right. I do
great for 3 or 4 weeks and then I get discouraged. I could teach the class I know exactly what I should be doing but once I get off it it is hard for me to get started again. I would like to lose about 40 pounds. Any suggestions for staying motivated?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hey Lou,
Stick a picture of someone whose body/look you admire on the fridge or somewhere you see it when going to eat. Pick someone realistic so its more motivating than depressing...

When I seen pictures of myself from Christmas I was shocked! That is what I use as motivation.

Salad dressing
Your best bet is to make your own if you can. I haven't been able to find a store bought one without a bunch of sugar and additives, but maybe someone else has.
