I have found a really good vanilla protein powder at Hy-Vee and I'm now on the hunt for some other flavors. I haven't found a chocolate one that actually tastes decent and isn't super gritty. Has anyone had any luck and found a good tasting protein powder? I'm up for any flavors. I like to make smoothies for breakfast, but I want to start using it for snacks or lunch too. I think if I could find a good chocolate one it might curb some of those chocolate cravings. Also, if anyone has a really good, but not super high calorie protein shake or smoothie recipe that would be great too. Thanks in advance!

I just buy the
Body Fortress
brand at Walmart. Like the chocolate peanutbutter one. Blend with a ice, frozen banana, some water + unsweetened almond milk. Or the vanilla creme with a frozen pear done like that is good too. Or that with a frozen banana, pineapple and splash of orange juice or coconut extract = tropical flavor. Not a fan of the chocolate or strawberry flavor they make.

I like
EAS 100% Whey
. It mixes easily with milk or water and tastes pretty good for what it is. BJs has it for ~$20/5 lb bag.

I like my chocolate "Betty Lou's: Low Glycemic Protein Shake". Costco used to sell them online, but not anymore. I add some peanut butter and a banana - for an awesome yummy meal in a cup!

BMI
According to my BMI I should weigh 115-154. I only use it to estimate what weight range I should head for, although I know it's not always an accurate indicator.

Is Quitting An Option???
One of the biggest thing I had to learn was not to quit after 1 slip up. Usually the guilt got the best of me, but I handle it a lot better now.
