Phone Apps/ FS etc.
I have an HTC Droid and I LOVE the FS app on it. Never had any issue with it at all!

Dark Circles under my eyes
Avon has a good regenerist cream for eyes too - use it every day and you get some of the puff back and they don't look black or sunken in... its like turning back the hand of time!

bacon vs. turkey bacon
I agree with the real thing or nothing approach with bacon. Since I don't eat it often, at 25 calories a slice, I don't mind eating 3 or 4 slices at breakfast instead of that turkey bacon. Don't get me wrong, turkey as a replacement has its place - but not for my bacon!

Will I ever not FEEL fat??!!!! Do you have this issue or have overcomed it??
LOL @ Trudy - you go girl!! I will never see a size 4 - my body and bone composition will not allow that. I will be happy to get to a size 8, and then I would feel like a 4 I think...lol. I did the CHAIR TEST last night, and let me tell you, I do have a fat perception of myself... it could have fit two of me in it!!! I still carry myself like that fat size I was, and even dress like it. So today - I tried something... I wore a very fitting pair of black pants, that I normally wouldn't - and a fitted sweater with a lower cowl neck. So far I have gotten 4 compliments on how I look, and I even feel like I am walking taller and straighter. I even thought I looked good when I looked in the mirror today. (And funny note - it is so much EASIER to walk in heels now than it was 90something pounds ago!!!) I think I need to do some clothes shopping so I can see myself in a more 'thin' light too. Wearing the same baggy stuff isn't helping my attitude toward me at all. I really like myself today!!!! We are all doing great - now we need to help ourselves feel great!!!!

Thanks again everyone. I know seeing that picture helps me, but I still think I need to shop in the 'fat' stores and yeah, find myself thinking clothes just aren't going to fit. Hopefully soon that will change!!!

That article does sound interesting - going to try that tonight in the kitchen!! Thanks Panther! I've done exactly that - and made a collage of my past year. I can see the changes - but I don't feel like I've changed. I hope that feeling goes away soon!!! But - I'll keep plugging on until it does!! [img]http://www.fatsecret.com/...

Ok, so I am down 92 pounds, lost over 10 inches on my waist alone, and have gone from a size 24 to a size 12. So great job, right??? THEN WHY DO I STILL FEEL REALLY FAT???? Will I ever not feel like I am the fat girl in the room or like I am really how others see me? Has anyone else felt like this? Have you overcome it and how?? It's really soemthing that bothers me a lot!!! Thanks!!!!

Weekends
I've spent most of my last year losing weight and gaining it back on the weekends only to lose it all over again and try to lose more during the week! It sucked in plain english!!! Here is what I have found I can go to help that... If I know I am going out to dinner on the weekend, I plan the rest of my day around what I want later. I also allow myself about 200 extra calories for that day - or a decent dessert that I haven't had in a while. BUT, I make sure I eat 2 other meals and 2 snacks that day - even if they are only a yogurt for breakfast and an apple for snack. It keeps my metabolism going throught the day and also keeps me from binging at dinner and overeating in one meal. Another thing, especially with the nice weather, I get out and do SOMETHING - anything that makes me move. I've taken my daughter ice skating, we play at the park, go for a nice walk, anything to move move move for a little time. And above all - REMEMBER TO DRINK YOUR WATER !!! (My biggest downfall up until a few weeks ago) I've found that finally this past month, I start the week at the same weight I ended the last one on. It takes some trial and error, and a lot of patience and motivation, but it can be done!! Good luck!!

Was Feeling Unmotivate until I SAW THIS!!
Ok, so I was feeling down on myself, like I wasn't doing good on this new journey anymore... I still have about 35-45 pounds left to lose. But once I did this, I feel so much better about how far I have come and not so bad about how far I have to go. It pays to keep yourself a digital reference. I can't wait until my new addition in May of this year!!! [img]http://www.fatsecret.com/...

Brekafast!
I don't think I'd try the savory version because I honestly don't miss bread that much, & when I do it's sweet breads like muffins & cakes that I want, so my sweet MIMs are much better for that. Oh well, it was still cool to try something new.
How do you make your sweet MIMs? I havn't found a recipe I like for those yet. Thanks!!

Brekafast!
I made the oopsie's again, and this time I made sweet ones too! I used fat free cream cheese and added about a tablespoon of confectioners sugar and a packet of artifical sweetner as well as a dollup of vanilla. No spices of any sort (other than a pinch of salt). It tasted like the sweet rolls I buy from our local Stop and Shop. And yes, you definately need to whip those egg whites stiff, and gently fold in the rest so you don't break down the whites.

Brekafast!
Made the oopsie rolls last night. Kind of similar in flavor to a pop-over type thing. Added some garlic powder, chipolti pepper and a touch of onion powder. Made an awesome 'roll' for my roast beef sandwich!!!!

My New Beginning!!!
Thanks js!! I never really gave up, just lost sight.... But now, seriously back on track, and even increased my RDI to 1450. I know now that I wasn't eating enough on a daily basis to maintain my metabolism! Looking forward to where I want to be come summer!! Love goals!!!

The weekend mess up!!!
I have the same problem with weekends. I also find I don't drink enough like I do during the week. My personally solution is to drink all my water on Mondays, sometimes with some added lemon, and to get back to my serious following of what I SHOULD eat. Then by Wednesday morning, I am usually back down to where I should have been Monday morning. I am working hard to resolve this myself, since I feel like I continually gain and lose the same weight!!! Good luck!!! Don't kick yourself over it, just get back on track!

My New Beginning!!!
I am restarting my diet today. I have begun going to the gym and also doing weight training. No more excuses. I have about 49 pounds to lose, and I am looking forward to my new optimism and motivations!!! No more giving in to the temptations and telling myself it is ok 3 or 4 times a week. The beginning of a new attitude starts now!!!!!!!! This is the last time I will restart my diet. From here on out, I ALONE am accountable for my actions and results.

So Frustrated and Blah
I have been zigging and zagging out of control it seems. I try to stay between 1200 and 1350 lately. But with my stomach out of control it is hard to keep food down or in. I am wondering if the stress is what is doing this to me. It's been a downward spiral since before Thanksgiving, and isn't letting up in the nearest future. Unfortunatly I think I have another month or two of this crap...sigh

Anyone using the Fitbit Flex or similar devices?
I like the FitBit Zip. I've maintained 10,000 steps daily by taking power walks on my breaks. I think it was definetely worth the purchase.

Need suggestions on healthy/low-calorie foods.
I'm reading this while eating some absolutely delightful fresh melon for breakfast. If the melon isn't soft enough on its own you could add it to a fruit smoothie.
