I need support!
1 oreo = 1 hour on the treadmill. It just sucks. Evidentally God gave me this body for a reason. If it would be my choice I would be a skinny girl who could eat cheeseburgers twice a day. However, that is not the case. Life is a test in so many ways, don't you think? Thank you again ladies.... much love...

Anyone else terrified of Thanksgiving
Such great ideas! I think I will snack on raw veggies all day, so that when its time to eat, I just don't stuff myself since I have already eaten tons of roughage. I also send most the leftovers with everyone else so I don't pig out on leftovers for days. Thats the plan at least....:-)

I need support!
You ladies are all so awesome! Thank you for the encouragement and the offers to become buddies (I will take you up on this!) Staci...I think we may be married to the same man! LOL...mine eats cereal, icecream, etc at 2am. I agree that a local friend would be great...I have a few from Church...and they will most likely become closer...but I appreciate the help and motivation you all are giving me now! super hugs... I need support!
I have AGAIN had an epic fail. My husband is the most wonderful man in the world, but he thinks Im beautiful as I am. Im not happy with myself, and really need to make a change stick. I need help, and support of friends, but I just moved to a new town in June and how do you ask 'aquaintences' for motivation and support? I will in turn, be a great support for you if you need the same... Jojo

Recommended Daily Intake
I love the bodybugg. It was expensive, but definately worth one of your big holiday presents (Birthday, Christmas etc) Once you figure out how to balance calories in and calories out...weight loss is so much easier. Its just sticking to it!!

peanut butter nutty buddy
The smartest choices for nuts while one a diet (and especially for woment) are roasted (unsalted) almonds (they are one of the power foods) and Walnuts. I purchase the bags of almonds and then separate them into snack baggies so that they are already portioned (since its hard to stop) Also, Whole Foods has the Almond butter that you can grind for yourself and it has organic dark chocolate! Way yummers!

Recommended Daily Intake
The best principle for weight loss is calories in calories out. This sight has a exercise calculator to tell you how many calories you are buring per day (including rest) To keep your daily deficit about 1000 calories is good for steady weight loss. I have a body bugg, so it tells me exactly what Im buring. My goals are to burn 2350 per day and I eat between 1350 and 1650 to keep a good deficit.

Drinking water
For every Mt. Dew or cup of cafinated liquid you drink you need to drink 14 oz of water to rehydrate. Even though they are 'liquid' they do not count as water. Crystal light is a great way to drink water if you do not like the taste. Try drinking decaff green tea. It aids in weight loss also! Jo

TURBO JAM
I have the whole workout also...but mostly use the turbo abs with my other routines (like wii fit) I need to use the rest of the dvd's for cardio. Maybe I'll incorporate them once a week with my other routine! Thanks for the reminder! Jojo

First Day
Wonnetta, Thats the right attitude...just keep reminding yourself everyday. Maybe even make yourself a goal page to look at everyday so you don't lose sight of your destination! Good luck! Jojo

Not technically a diet question - husband troubles
You have recieved some great advice here. But the end result will be what you decide. Counciling, praying, and/or just a good talk with him to see where you stand at this moment are all good directions. But, in the end, work on this issue now. Its good that you started the process of finances and all...but the most important issue is where your relationship is going to go. From my own experience (and a 15 year marriage) I was so relieved after the discussion. I divorced my X and was so relieved. Some relationships are not meant to be saved. Follow your heart...but don't keep waiting. If you can fix your marriage then that is beautiful, however; if you cannot, then make the move now. Don't waste another minute of your life because life is too precious. Whatever your decision...know that I will say a prayer for you! jojo
