i need HELP!!!
I have tried at 100 cal both on jolly time and orville red and really did not care for the butter version... now the 100 cal kettle korn from jolly time is fab. I bought light buttered popcorn from aldis and it is wonderful... I think that there is more than 3 popped cups per bag, but it is already in my tummy. I will not have any for a good couple days so I wont be able accurately divide into cups....But the box states 3 servings per bag... Even if it is more cals... it is worth it.

i need HELP!!!
Ok... I need some clarification. Ok.. On popcorn boxes it has 2 nutritional info's on it. On the popped side.... When the box states 3 servings per bag is that for the popped side or unpopped side or both? Thank you. Quite unclear to me so I am hoping someone can help me.

Anyone know of any good exercises for someone with a bum knee?
Hi Navy chick... My hubby had acl recon about 10 years also and it went poorly also. He has alot of arthritis and swelling still. However he can swim and use the eliptical with little to no problem with his knee. Dont know if that will work for you since everyone is different but swimming helped him the most. Erin

SUSHI
miso soup is great low in cals. edamame is AWESOME and is very good in fiber and protien. sashimi is the best but if you cant do that anything w/o sauce... ie.spicy tuna rolls has a mayo sauce etc. california rolls are good in moderation for the good source of fat as long as they dont put sauce on it. Ask questions... find out what is in it. Make sure drink lots of water all these items contains a good amount of sodium, also use lite soy sauce if needed.

10 Foods You Probably Think Are Healthy, But Aren’t
You have to be objective and everything in moderation. Fiber is very important in both in healthy living and in weight loss. But alot on this list you can get good fiber. I have seen breads that are 140 per slice with loads of fat, and have purchased lite bread and pita that have as little as 35 cals with much lower in fats and high in fiber. Read the label, depending what diet you are following follow that and keep the cal intake in mind.

staying with it!
mrfooter is right. I always track exaxtly what i eat and find new exciting foods. If you eat the same foods it gets boring. I what has helped me the most is to plan your food at least the day ahead, sometimes i do 1/2 a week so i am not doing alot of running around and have some items ready to go i.e. already bagged snacks. carrots with hummus 1 cup of grapes etc. for emergency. I tend to wait too long to eat and then I am really hungry and eat anything insite. Also I work in a mex rest. I LOVE mex food but most of our items are extremely unhealthly. I bought a "fridge-to-go" at bed bath and beyond and carried my lunch to work and it keeps your food cold all day. Also my sisters bought me a panini press for my birthday and it is awesome!!! I grilled 4.5 ounces of low fat ham, heart heathy pita and had tomato and cucumber slices sprouts and banana peppers and 1 wedge of laughing cow lite cheese and onions... heaven for about 250 cals. The best part is I typically cook my hubby something different then mine and he said he wanted that for tonight.... hope that helps. Erin

new to fatsecret have a question
Hi you have to edit your account and add it to what you want to track. Be careful some of the points are a little different that weight watcher points. Usually it is a wash but I have see posts that some items are off. Thanks erin:oops:

how much can i eat?????
Also if you like tea there is a tea that is called get lost and it is from republic of teas and it is a red tea that it has just a taste of chocolate and is lovely with a splenda and helps my sugar cravings. I know how you feel. I purchased a box of the weight watchers carrot cakes and ate the whole box. Needless to say I was ill the rest of the night and my points evened out. However i have leared that I am just keeping to ff yogurts, sugarfree puddings and jello for dessert for now. no more purchasing cakes!! :) erin

Atkins advantage
its the sugar alcohols. They are not suppose to change your blood sugar. I use atkins product and keep in ketosis. i do not know how to sutract the sugar alcohol off the comp. i.e. maltitol

Atkins advantage
do you have net carbs on your diet calander if not add those and that is the number you go by. Also some times they subtract sugar alcohols. It may be that did you add it into the database yourself?

just wondering
I agree with glenn. There will be times that it definately harder than others. Last summer I lost about 80 pounds and in december got sick and have been on prednizone ever since. I stopped the diet and slowly over the last year gained that back + 10 more pounds. I had convinced myself since I was sick and taking meds that make you eat that I was stuck being overweight and unhealthy. After a honest weight conversation with my doctor this november decided I was choosing my health and restarted the diet and so far have lost 27 lbs. I am unable to exercize due to my illness but keeping moving around the house and controling carbs and keeping in ketosis has been an eye opener for me. Keep up the good work and you will see major results!!! :)

HELP!
I agree with the above posts. Try to find out what is your trigger food(s). Mine is breads, fast food and sugar. Do not be over ambicious. I first worked on cutting out fast food then sugar products, and now I have added the breads. I have lost 27 pounds since the middle of november. Adding in salads to offset hunger worked for me also. But I love salads... Have to find what works for you, and exercize is a huge component. Also track everything you eat. It helped me. I also do well with having a buddy. My sister is mine, we look at our food journal and are honest with each other. As my sister always says, she doesnt want to disappoint herself by eating 3 icecream sandwiches and have to admit it to herself and to me. It keeps us on track.
