Salt: New Research
I try to stay under 2400 mgs a day, and have my FS settings choosing to show sodium in my food diary. You can really tell, at a glance, how much those processed foods add up during the day! Thanks for sharing the info, info!

sleeping horrible since started dieting & exercising why???????
My understanding is that melatonin occurs naturally in the body, and as we get older we aren't as efficient in producing it. So, if you are under 40, adding melatonin MAY not work for you. But it's worth a try, especially since others here seem to have had good luck with it in their younger years.

protein ideas
Some of frozen veggie burgers are pretty high in protein if you don't mind processed food. Not sure which are vegan, but there are many, many vegetarian ones.

I don't care who the organization is - mocking or embarrassing people is not the way to go. BTW, I've been a vegetarian for about 25 years, and was a vegetarian when I weighed 256 lbs, so not only is the billboard harrassment - it's inaccurate!

why the scale lies
veggies said it was from another website - anyone could have googled the title to find out who wrote it (if it was important to them). No-one was stealing, and that's a harsh, unnecessary accusation to make against someone who was just trying to help others on this site.
